VIRTUALISATION CONSULTANT
Reading Company Car /Car allowance circa £50,000+bonus
Our client is a specialist IT distributor. Due to their continued success and growth are now seeking to recruit a Virtualisation Consultant to work in the Security & Virtualisation Professional Services division. To provide technical/commercial expertise to clients in presenting solutions aiding pre sales.in providing solutions design and project delivery from key vendor technologies VMware, Citrix, Platespin ,Appsense and Wyse .This role will be based at the Reading office with frequent travel through out the UK. The ideal candidate will be degree educated with in depth technical knowledge and a proven track record in a similar role and the drive and enthusiasm to succeed in this role.
The Role:
Solution planning coordinating and implementation
working individually and as a technical lead on team assignments providing technical/commercial expertise to clients in presenting solutions
Aiding Presales in tenders/quotes providing concept/technical validation
and identifying customer sales and service opportunities
Will have VMware VCP 4 Citrix CCA XenApp/ XenDesktop/ XenServer Novell Platespin Windows 2003&2008 server operating systems and Terminal Services and a strong understanding of TCP/IP and OSI model and network infrastructure protocols
Excellent planning and organisational , and exceptional communication skills s skills are essential for this role with problem solving ability in both business and technical environments and the ability to work effectively and efficiently under pressure with acute business acumen and a positive “can do” Attitude

Salary package Basic circa £50,000 + bonus
Company Car or Car allowance (£6,000)
Must have a full UK driving Licence for this role * Lots of travel around the UK
21 days holiday rising to a maximum of
25 with length of service
