Job Description

A great opportunity to take on the role of a nursery manager with a fantastic organisation, which will offer long term career progression.

This is a fantastic role for an experienced nursery manager who is keen on gaining a new challenge.

The role is suitable for experienced nursery managers who has the ability to manage a nursery catering for children from 03 months to 5 years.

If you are a passionate Nursery Manager who is keen and delivering the very best possible childcare standards within a nursery then this could be the role for you.

Some of your responsibilities will be:

• €¢To achieve and maintain high standards of care and education

• €¢To effectively lead and manage the staff team including recruitment and retention

• €¢To effectively manage the budget and occupancy levels to ensure the nursery is profitable

• €¢To ensure all policies and procedures are implemented and adhered to at all times

• €¢To Implement an effective parent liaison programme. You will need to have the following qualifications, training and experience:

• €¢NNEB, CACHE level 3, NVQ level 3 or equivalent

• €¢Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work to targets and deadlines

• €¢Good time management skills

• €¢Excellent knowledge of health and safety legislation

• €¢Knowledge of OFSTED standards

• €¢Excellent communication skills

• €¢Strong people management skills

• €¢Knowledge and understanding of equal opportunities/SENCO etc.
